Bring your heads of department and end users to this presentation to learn how Teams can revolutionize your workday. We’ll demonstrate the interface, discuss feature sets and provide some real-life examples of how Teams is used. Lunch will be provided and this presentation will also be available via Teams Live Events livestream.

From Sites, to Groups, to Teams, to Delve and everywhere in between, Office 365 is built for collaboration. We are going to open up the toolbox, and sort through the clutter to find the right tool for the right job.  Maybe we prefer the one-stop chat-based shop of Teams, the solitary nature of OneDrive for Business, the modern web experience of SharePoint Online sites, or the Outlook based experience of Groups.  Maybe we just want to let Delve tell us what we need before we need it.  This presentation will help you understand each path a little better and decide which ones to use to get your work done more quickly and more “collaboratively.”

There is plenty of guidance for getting started using Microsoft Teams, but how should administrators prepare for a successful rollout? What if you’ve already started using Teams and are realizing the administrative needs?  Without proper preparation and understanding, Teams (and Office 365 Groups) can become the wild west and leave you wondering how to dig out of a mess. This session will explore a variety of administration and governance topics that will lead you on the path to a healthy environment and prevent things from getting out of control.

Speaker: Jeremy Miller

Jeremy is an Enterprise Architect and Microsoft MVP focused on designing secure and scalable solutions. He has a broad background in designing and supporting both cloud and on-premises systems. Jeremy’s past experiences include working with Microsoft technologies in complex environments ranging from hospitality to EDU to multi-national manufacturing companies ranging from 300 – 750,000 users.
